So you want treats? The way to do that in Finland is to make a Magic Stick. I haven't been told a whole lot about this, so I'm mostly filling in the blanks here but how complicated can it be? 

I spent a full 0 minutes researching this but I feel qualified to teach anyway. So let's get right to it!

Part One: How to find a stick
Finding your stick has never been easier with the introduction of nature forests! You can go looking around, up, down, and sideways. Try to find a fallen branch/stick, one that is strong enough to have stuff on it but not so unwielding that it will be mistaken for a medieval sword. 

Pick off any stray twiggy bits from the branch and gift them back to the forest. Dance in a circle to say thank you to the forest, this is essential. However you dance is up to you. Also, probably not part of the Finnish tradition, but if we start now then no one will know the difference in 100 years. 

Part Two: How to pick stuff to stick on stick
Hopefully you have a load of craft shit in your home. Raid, and maybe raid someone else's stuff too. You can also pop to the shop, or pick up more stuff from nature. I used up some of my craft shit. 

Since it's Easter, I went with yellows, pinks, and a little bit of white. As if I took apart a chick and glued the pieces of it to the stick. That's sort of what you're going for here. Otherwise I have no idea why the government chooses those colours. I suggest a nicely worded letter to ask if you are interested. 

Pick out your craft items and plan them out. Bit of pompom, bit of feather, bit of pipe cleaner perhaps. 

Part Three: How to get glue off your hands
I tried to not use glue. I failed. In the end I had to get the glue gun out. And that stuff drips a bit so I noodled it around with my finger. You can try to rub glue off while it's still a bit wet, use soap, scratch it off. Mine came off after some rubbing with soap under the tap. All good. And I used the more proper glue that time as well. You'll be fine. And it'll give you something to talk about when you see your friends...
"I got glue on my finger!"
"No way! How???"
"Well, I was doing this awesome course on Magic Sticks, and..."

Part Four: Sticking stuff on stick
Hmm, so apparently I planned 2 sections for the gluing. Seems frivilous. Anyhoo, stick your craft shit on the stick. Wherever you feel like. If you get stuck (stuck haha), ask the stick! Do not underestimate the value of this. The stick knows All. It is All. The stick in fact chose YOU to be its stickee. It knew what you wanted the minute you laid eyes on it. It's what the stick really wanted. It's its destiny. Go within, without, into the stick and become One. Stick shit on stick. 

Part Five: How to waft your new stick to make others super jealous
Wafting is a skill in itself. If demand is high enough I may compile a 6 month course on this alone. My time is precious though yo, so I'll need 7k subscribers on You Tube at a minimum. 

Imagine your arm is part of the stick, and waft! Waft like your life depends on it! As you see people getting way jelly, waft more! Make the loose bits of the stick go cray cray. And rest. Don't go too mad yet. Always leave them wanting.
